Thick and Quick Acrylic / Outdoor Demo

Looking to connect with your creativity? This outdoor sketching demo is for everyone, regardless of skill level! Whether you prefer to observe from your window, sketch from your car, or start with a quick pencil sketch, the goal is to engage your senses and connect with something meaningful in your life.

I've been a passionate sketcher since 1980, inspired by the French Impressionists. The key? Get out there! Explore mountains, forests, parks, alleys, and streets – just find something to capture. A valuable piece of advice I received from my mentor, Rudy de Reyna, is essential: "Sketch the very first thing that remotely interests you. There are no perfect pictures waiting for you; you make them happen!"

In this quick 10-minute demo, you'll discover valuable painting tips, particularly useful for working with thick acrylics. Here's what you'll learn:

• Color Mixing Secrets: Discover how to effectively mix colors directly on your painting surface for richer, more vibrant results.
• Color Harmony: Learn to use "sweet and pure color notes" that create a captivating and harmonious painting.
• Outdoor Painting Efficiency: Master techniques for creating stunning outdoor paintings using a limited palette and time.
• Mountain Painting Techniques: Find out how to make your mountain landscapes appear grand and impressive.
• Cold Weather Painting Safety: Essential tips to prevent frostbite and stay comfortable while painting outdoors in cold conditions.
