Intuitive Painting: Creating Abstracts in Charcoal

Unleash your inner artist with a fun and experimental charcoal painting class! This session is all about embracing intuition and exploring the joy of creating. We'll be working with charcoal on multiple sheets of paper simultaneously, treating them as one large canvas. Get ready to reveal four unique and surprising artworks at the end!

This class is perfect for:

• Art enthusiasts eager to master new painting techniques.
• Those curious about intuitive painting and letting go of control.
• Anyone who loves observing and learning from other artists' creative processes.

We'll be using readily available supplies, making it a great opportunity to experiment with your own art materials. Feel free to substitute and follow your creative instincts!

Supplies We'll Be Using:

• Canson XL Cold Press 140lb Watercolor Paper: A versatile surface for charcoal drawing and painting.
• Charcoal Pencils & Blocks: Specifically, I'll be using Derwent Charcoal Pencils and Derwent Charcoal Blocks in class.
• Artist Tape: For securing and layering your paper.
• Variety of Brushes: To add depth and texture to your charcoal art.

Prepare for a delightful experience – a chance to paint what feels good and be amazed by the results!
