Learn to paint adorable thumbprint cookies with jam in this comprehensive watercolor class! This tutorial guides you through the entire process, from initial concept to finished artwork.

What you'll learn:

• Ideation & Sketching: Discover my thumbnail sketching process and how I find reference images for creating charming thumbprint cookie paintings. I'll show you how to sketch the subject from scratch.
• Step-by-Step Watercolor Painting: Follow along as I demonstrate my watercolor painting method, broken down into manageable, short lessons. This approach makes the process less daunting and allows for flexible learning.
• Traceable Outline: A downloadable, traceable outline is provided for those who prefer not to draw their own. Find it in the projects and resources section.
• Watercolor Basics Refresher: This class is best suited for intermediate watercolor painters with a foundational understanding of color mixing, brush control, and basic form. While a beginner can try, some prior experience is recommended.
• Pace Yourself: I slightly speed up my painting, but include plenty of pauses to allow you to work at your own pace. Watch the full lesson or preceding lessons before painting along to fully understand each step.

Skill Level: Class is classified as intermediate, but beginners are welcome to give it a try! I'll offer guidance to help you succeed.
