Here's what you'll discover:

• Environment Setup & Hello World: Get started quickly by setting up your ROS Noetic environment and writing your very first "Hello World" ROS project.
• Your First ROS Package: Gain a solid understanding of ROS fundamentals through a practical, hands-on example. You'll learn to create ROS packages, define ROS messages, and utilize launch files.
• Robot Simulation with Turtlesim: Explore robotic simulation using the widely-used turtlesim package. Master transformations, learn to control your virtual robot, and navigate it to specific waypoints.
• Gazebo & Rviz Introduction: Discover Gazebo, a powerful physics simulator seamlessly integrated with ROS. Learn to visualize your robot and sensors using Rviz, displaying robot position, sensor readings, and planning information. We'll cover building and visualizing robots and sensors with Xacro and URDF.
• Perception Fundamentals: Leverage Gazebo and Rviz to understand sensor data and robot perception. Learn how to build and visualize your robot and sensors using Xacro and URDF for enhanced understanding.
• Obstacle Avoidance: Apply your newfound knowledge to create a robot capable of autonomously avoiding obstacles using available sensors. Develop problem-solving skills essential for robotic engineering.

Certification & Support:

Upon completion of all five assignments (ranging in difficulty), you'll earn a valuable Master Certificate demonstrating your ROS proficiency. While assignments aren't mandatory for course completion, they are required for certification.
