Many rattan restoration techniques are transferable to other furniture types.

To get started, gather these essential resources:

• A piece of rattan furniture needing attention
• Split cane
• Mineral spirits
• Staple gun (using round staples)
• Sandpaper (180-220 grit)
• Boiled linseed oil

The course features video instruction on how to restore wicker furniture and bring it back to its former glory.
