Leveraging Technology in the Classroom:

This isn't about simply adding technology; it's about harnessing its power to connect with students in meaningful ways. Move beyond rote copying and pasting.

• Beyond PowerPoint: Learn how to avoid the pitfalls of relying solely on presentations. Effective technology integration requires thoughtful explanations and engagement, not just slides.
• Digital Pedagogy: Explore the critical need for a new approach to teaching – digital pedagogy – to meet the demands of today's networked learning environment.
• Connecting with Learners: Reflect on how children learn in a digital age. It's not about digitizing textbooks; it's about fostering creativity and connection through technology.
• A New Teaching Paradigm: Embrace a shift in thinking, focusing on creation, managing chaos, facilitating correction, and encouraging active learning – a move from consumption to creation.

Ultimately, this module encourages educators to re-evaluate their approach to technology and prioritize a mindset of love, care, and student-centered learning. Prepare for great learning!
