Materials You'll Need:

We encourage you to utilize the watercolor supplies you already have! Here's a suggested list to get you started:

• Watercolor Paper: We'll be using Cold Press 140lb watercolor paper, but any cold press paper will work.
• Watercolor Brush: A dagger, wedge, or chisel-type watercolor brush is ideal for creating the leaf shape. Explore different watercolor brushes to find one you like!
• Splatter Brush: Your favorite brush for creating dynamic watercolor splatters.
• Watercolors: Use any watercolor paints you have on hand! We're using Schmincke Super Granulating Watercolors in class.
• Kuretake Mica Paste: This gold paint is a favorite for adding shimmer and depth. It can be used thick or thinned for various effects.
• Mark-Making Tools: Posca paint pens or any other preferred tools for adding details and texture.
