Are your users experiencing slow performance with multidimensional and tabular queries in Analysis Services? This course, Tuning SSAS Models, equips you with the skills to pinpoint the root cause of these performance bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
You'll learn to diagnose query performance problems by identifying whether the bottleneck lies within the formula engine or the storage engine. This crucial first step allows you to choose the most appropriate optimization strategy.
The course covers a range of techniques, including:
- Query rewriting: Discover how to optimize existing queries for faster execution.
- Multidimensional and tabular model modification: Learn when and how to adjust your model structure to improve query speed.
- Tabular model memory optimization: Explore strategies for better memory management in tabular models, directly impacting query performance and overall processing speed.
By the end of this course, you'll possess the essential knowledge and skills to tune Analysis Services and achieve optimal query performance. Stop struggling with slow queries and start delivering fast, responsive data analysis! Master the art of SSAS model tuning and ensure your users get the insights they need, when they need them.
