• Evidence-Based: These techniques are built upon decades of research demonstrating their effectiveness in improving mental and physical health outcomes.
• Addressing a Gap in the Equine Industry: While widely adopted in other sectors, there's been a need for clearer understanding and implementation of trauma-informed practice within the equine industry.

Understanding Trauma:

Trauma arises from a single event, a series of events, or ongoing circumstances that an individual perceives as harmful or life-threatening. While each person's experience is unique, trauma can lead to lasting adverse effects impacting mental, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

What is Trauma-Informed Practice?

Trauma-informed practice is a holistic approach to health and care that acknowledges the profound impact of trauma on an individual's neurological, biological, psychological, and social development. This course will equip you to effectively integrate these principles into your services and systems.
