Unlock Your Artistic Potential: Master Black and White Drawing with Shapes & Contrast

Ready to elevate your drawing skills? Join Ohn Mar Win's engaging art class and discover the power of black and white drawing! This course focuses on developing a strong understanding of shapes and contrast to create stunning, impactful compositions.

You'll learn to observe carefully using real-life references – from everyday fruit and vegetables to elegant vases. Ohn Mar Win will guide you through the process of meticulously filling in the darkest and lightest areas, utilizing toned paper as a valuable tool for achieving depth and dimension.

Why use toned paper?

• Faster Sketches: Complete sketches more efficiently.
• Less Intimidating: Overcome the blank page feeling.
• Enhanced Observation: Encourages deeper visual analysis.

By the end of this class, you'll be able to break down forms into their essential dark and light areas, leading to a more profound understanding of your subject matter.

What you'll do:

You'll work from three different live references of common items: fruit, vegetables, and a cup or vase. To maximize your learning, we recommend collecting your own examples from around your home – this hands-on approach will foster better observation and informed artistic decisions.
