Tarot and Dreams - Interpreting Dreams with Tarot

Unlock the Secrets of Your Dreams with Tarot: An Introduction to OniroTarology

Are you a Tarot reader seeking a deeper connection to dream interpretation? This course introduces OniroTarology, an innovative technique that merges the power of dreams and Tarot symbolism for profound self-discovery and insightful readings.

What is OniroTarology?

OniroTarology is the art of interpreting dreams using Tarot cards. It's not about traditional divination or cartomancy based on card draws. Instead, you'll learn to select Tarot cards based on their symbolic meaning to decode the hidden messages within dreams. This method allows you to build a Tarot spread directly linked to the dream narrative, translating the dream's story into a meaningful sequence of Major Arcana.

A Practical Approach to Dream Analysis

This course provides a practical framework for understanding your dreams and those of others. We'll explore how to use Tarot as a decoding tool to uncover the underlying meanings of your subconscious.

Example: Jung's "Brocken Spectre" Dream

Let's begin with a fascinating example from Carl Jung's own life:

"It was night in some unknown place, and I was making slow and painful headway against a mighty wind. Dense fog was flying along everywhere. I had my hands cupped around a tiny light which threatened to go out at any moment...Suddenly I had the feeling that something was coming up behind me. I looked back, and saw a gigantic black figure following me...When I awoke I realized at once that the figure was a “specter of the Brocken,” my own shadow on the swirling mists, brought into being by the little light I was carrying."

Can you identify the Tarot card that best represents this dream scene? The Hermit card!

Now, what Tarot card would you choose to represent the "gigantic black figure"? The Devil card, representing a "Shadow figure," is a strong contender.

By placing these two cards side-by-side, you've created a mini Tarot sequence that visually translates the dream's core elements. The rest is up to your Tarot reading ability to interpret the dream's message through the lens of Tarot symbolism.
