Understanding Human Factors

Human Factors Management is a crucial discipline focused on the development and application of knowledge regarding human behavior and performance. It considers the interplay of tasks, equipment, and technology used by professionals in their roles, alongside associated rules, procedures, communication, and the physical, social, and organizational environment.

This field also encompasses the profession that applies theory, principles, data, and design methods to optimize human well-being and overall system performance.

Beyond Automation: Addressing the Root Causes of Human Error

Human error in process industries isn't solely about a lack of automation, inadequate work procedures, or limited hardware/software tools for operator-process interaction in control rooms. It delves deeper, examining the conditions that influence human behavior. We address the limitations inherent in human performance and how to mitigate risks effectively. Our solutions provide a holistic approach to error reduction by considering the complete picture of the worker's environment and capabilities.
