Quick Start - Learn programming in C#

Ready to learn to code? This course is perfect for absolute beginners – no prior programming experience required! We'll introduce you to the fundamental concepts of programming, allowing you to quickly determine if a career in coding is right for you. Forget lengthy theoretical introductions; we dive right into practical application. You'll be writing your first program in the second lesson!

We'll explore the essential building blocks of any programming language, focusing on hands-on practice without overwhelming detail. We'll use C#, a popular and beginner-friendly programming language (pronounced "see sharp"), and the excellent {Coder for C#} tool to get you started.

You'll master key C# programming topics, including:

• Variables and operators: Understand how to store and manipulate data.
• Conditional statements: Learn to control program flow with if, else if, and else.
• Repeating statements (loops): Automate tasks with for, while, and do-while loops.
• Objects (classes): Discover the fundamentals of object-oriented programming.

Through engaging exercises, you'll build a variety of simple programs, from graphical programs like controlling a car, drawing a smiley face, and creating simple paintings, to a continuous project: programming the classic game Pong!
