In the PTE test, you'll encounter one or two Summarize Written Text (SWT) questions. The challenge? You'll be presented with a passage of up to 250 words and given just 10 minutes to condense it into a single, impactful sentence – ranging from 5 to 75 words in length.

Many students struggle with grammar in this section, and it's a significant factor in scoring. A single grammatical error can drastically reduce your points. For example, using multiple full stops instead of one will result in a zero score because a single sentence must have only one full stop.

This course provides a proven template designed to ensure grammatical accuracy. We'll help you focus on selecting the most important content words to include in your summary. Once you've mastered the template, you'll be able to summarize texts in approximately 8 minutes, leaving you ample time to proofread for spelling errors – another key element of strong written communication.
