  • Discover the differences between organic and inorganic substances.
  • Grasp the concepts of acids and bases and the pH scale.

• Module 2 - Hazard Labeling & Safety Data Sheets (SDS):

  • Get an introduction to hazard classes and subclasses.
  • Decipher UN symbols and their meaning.
  • Understand risk numbers and UN numbers.
  • Interpret pictograms that indicate specific hazards.
  • Learn how to identify risk class numbers.
  • Master the methodology for identifying risk numbers.

• Module 3 - Hazard Classes:

  • Explore the core concepts associated with each hazard class. Gain a comprehensive understanding of different chemical hazards.

• Module 4 - Emergency Procedures:

  • Learn essential intervention procedures for handling hazardous material incidents.
  • Understand the importance of the Safety Data Sheet (SDS), also known as the FISPQ (Ficha de Informação de Segurança para Produtos Químicos).
  • Familiarize yourself with emergency cards.
  • Discover emergency procedures tailored to specific risk classes.
