Planet-Centered Design: Public-Planet Partnerships

Traditional Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) are increasingly recognized as vital for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. However, a critical element is often overlooked: our planet itself. While we focus on protecting and restoring nature, a deeper, more collaborative approach is needed.

Introducing the Public-Planet Partnership (PPP) framework: a revolutionary way to foster mutually beneficial collaborations between humans and the entire natural world.

Imagine forging partnerships with other species, harnessing nature’s ingenious innovations, or establishing fair trade agreements with microbial communities. Envision forming consortiums with forests and coalitions with oceans. The Public-Planet Partnership framework makes these possibilities a reality.

This course offers a nature-based solutions approach to the traditional Public-Private Partnership and human-centered design models. We provide practical tools and methodologies to help you understand and implement PPPs, even without a scientific background.
