Piano Lessons for Beginners Level 1

Learn to play the piano with our comprehensive course, designed for beginners with no prior musical experience. We utilize the effective "Two-Part System," a progressive approach that builds a strong foundation in piano playing.

This course focuses on mastering both hands, starting with the right hand's ability to play the 12 natural notes (from Middle C to G in the second octave) and their enharmonic equivalents (F# and Bb).

In Lesson 5, we introduce basic left-hand chord shapes. You'll learn to change between chords while playing common piano pieces, building coordination and musicality.

By Lesson 11, you'll be able to play simple traditional tunes with easy arrangements. The right hand will focus on the first 5 natural notes (Middle C to G), and the left hand will master three basic chord shapes: Root position C Major, First Inversion of G7, and Second Inversion of F Major.

Starting Lesson 12, we introduce a new fingering pattern for the right hand to play the notes A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. The left hand expands with additional chords: D7, C7, and Bb, explored in various hand positions.

Lesson 13 introduces the eighth note for the right hand, incorporating broken chords for the left hand. Throughout the course, you'll learn essential playing instructions, including legato, staccato, lead-in notes, first and second endings, arpeggios, chord inversions, scales, and key signatures.

Upon completion of Lesson 31, you'll be able to read and play fifty different songs with easy arrangements, confidently progressing your piano skills. This course provides a structured path to piano proficiency for all skill levels.
