Led by experienced artist Jen Dixon, this project transforms a simple landscape painting into a valuable learning experience. You'll explore:

• Color Mixing: Intuitively create any color you need using a limited palette.
• Core Watercolor Techniques: Master fundamental methods for vibrant and expressive results.
• Composition & Shape: Understand and apply principles of design to create compelling paintings.
• Value Studies: Learn to identify and utilize values in reference photos for more abstract interpretations.
• Sketching: Use quick sketching to accurately understand and recreate shapes.
• Wet-on-Wet Technique: Achieve loose, playful effects with this popular watercolor method.

This watercolor painting class is perfect for both beginners and experienced artists seeking a relaxing and rewarding practice. You'll leave with a finished landscape painting and valuable skills to enhance all your future watercolor projects.

With just a few basic watercolor supplies, you're ready to paint along! While we couldn't answer every question live, share your thoughts and inquiries in the class discussion board.
