Led by Péricles Ziemermann, a renowned researcher, speaker, and author specializing in abstinence and addiction, this course offers invaluable insights. Péricles, born in Porto Alegre in 1975 and currently residing in Curitiba, holds a law degree and expertise in various fields. He is the author of several influential books including PRINCÍPIOS ABSTEMIOLÓGICOS, TEORIAS ABSTEMIOLÓGICAS, ITINERÁRIOS ABSTEMIOLÓGICOS, and ABSTEMIOPATIAS.

This course is dedicated to fostering the values of abstinence for those recovering from substance abuse (drugs/alcohol). Péricles actively shares his knowledge as a volunteer abstemious educator in anonymous groups and clinics, delivering impactful presentations to both individuals struggling with addiction and their families. With over twelve years of experience within abstinence groups, he champions a shift in focus from the study of addiction to the power of abstinence itself.
