MPLS Fundamentals | Sample Lab Study

Unlock the power of MPLS with this comprehensive training!

This course builds upon your existing knowledge of Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP Enterprise Core 350-401 ENCOR, and Cisco CCNP Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services 300-410 ENARSI. A solid understanding of routing protocols like RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, and BGP is essential, as we'll leverage all of these in our MPLS configuration journey.

We'll guide you through a step-by-step activation of the MPLS application, covering the following key areas:

• IP Addressing Configuration: Learn to configure IP addresses on devices within a sample topology.
• MPLS Domain Routing: Master configuring routing within the provider network.
• MPLS Enablement: Enable MPLS functionality on routers within the domain.
• MP-BGP Configuration: Implement MP-BGP between Provider Edge (PE) routers.
• VRF Creation: Create Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRFs) for Customer-A and Customer-B on the PE router.
• Routing Between CE and VRFs: Configure routing between Customer Edge (CE) routers and their respective VRFs.
• Redistribution & Finalization: Perform redistribution operations on the PE router and finalize the configuration.

Hands-on experience is key! We'll utilize the Eve-NG Network simulation program for all laboratory applications. I'll provide detailed instructions on how to download and effectively use this powerful simulation tool.
