MC Journey - Melodics

Dive into "Melodic," a captivating 12-track album showcasing a unique blend of musical styles! This collection features original recordings, each approximately 3 minutes long, exploring diverse themes.

For years, I've been passionate about hip hop, a journey that began in college and evolved from DJing to songwriting. My first rhymes emerged at 17, experimenting with vivid imagery – think lines like "my heart the key my brain the ignition stepping to me as like standing in the middle of a crowded intersection" and delivering a lyrical punch with "I got a lyrical overdose puttin mc's in comatose!"

"Melodic" isn't confined to just one genre. You'll hear influences from hip hop, jazz, R&B, and various other musical landscapes. Growing up in Southern California, I was immersed in the vibrant hip hop scene, tuning into stations like The Beat and Power 106. I also followed the latest releases on platforms like Rap City, MTV, and The Box.

Beyond music, I hold a degree from Southern Illinois University, majoring in Administration of Justice. My experience extends to education; I earned a teaching certificate from the Cambridge International Educational Institute in Taipei, Taiwan, where I taught English for an extended period.

Music recording and rapping with friends are core to my creative process. I'm constantly crafting new songs, driven by a love for expression and the power of rhythm. Explore "Melodic" and discover a fusion of sounds and stories!
