Lumion : Landscape Design & Photorealistic Rendering

Learn to create stunning landscape visualizations with Lumion! This course guides you through the entire process, from initial design to final rendering. We'll focus on crafting an aesthetically pleasing landscape model in SketchUp and then transforming it into realistic images and video clips using Lumion.

What is Landscape Architecture?

In this course, you will:

• Design Landscape Models: Master the fundamentals of creating compelling landscape designs.
• Realistic Materials in Lumion: Learn how to apply realistic textures and materials to bring your landscapes to life.
• Adding Objects & Components: Discover how to populate your scenes with trees, plants, buildings, and other essential landscape elements within Lumion.
• Rendering Concepts: Understand the core principles behind high-quality rendering for visually impactful results.
• Image & Video Rendering: Produce professional-quality images and video clips of your landscape designs.

Project/Practice Description:

You'll design a complete landscape model, export it to Lumion, and then add materials and objects to create a captivating scene. We'll cover adding effects and ultimately, rendering stunning images and videos. All necessary files for this course are provided in the class description for your reference. While you're encouraged to design your own unique landscape, you can also utilize the provided files as a starting point. Practice is key – experiment and refine your skills!
