About Guyviaud Joseph

Guyviaud Joseph (pronounced Giv-e-odd) is a working actor based in Linden, New Jersey, with a strong foundation in both the artistic and business sides of the entertainment industry. A Penn State University graduate with a degree in Business/Marketing, Guyviaud combined his passion for acting with a practical understanding of how to succeed in a competitive field. During his undergraduate studies, he honed his craft under the guidance of renowned theatrical director Dick Caram, exploring diverse acting styles including the Suzuki method. He gained valuable on-stage experience, notably starring as Troy in August Wilson's Fences.

After graduating, Guyviaud spent several years as a successful Account Executive at CBS News. Seeking a return to his artistic roots, he dedicated himself to mastering the craft of acting, training with acclaimed coaches Susan Batson, Wynn Handman, and Bob Krawkower – coaches who have mentored numerous Academy Award-winning actors. Since his co-starring role in the major network series Unforgettable (2014), Guyviaud has consistently booked co-star roles (10 in 1.5 years) and has appeared in blockbuster films like John Wick 2. He has also secured numerous national and regional commercials. Beyond acting, Guyviaud has expanded his skillset by working as a Producer and Assistant Director (AD) on various productions, gaining comprehensive insight into the entire filmmaking process.
