Ready to create your own 3D characters? This class provides the essential 3D modeling skills needed to transform simple character designs into compelling 3D models. Character modeling for animation can be a complex skill to master, but we'll start with the fundamentals, building a strong foundation for all your future 3D projects.

I'll share my proven approach to modeling, texturing, shading, and lighting a character, using a design from my Into the Ocean: Character Design Essentials class. We'll then place this character within a simple underwater environment. Feel free to follow along with the provided design or use your own character design if you've taken my previous class.
