Immigration

The current situation at the Southern border is a significant concern for many Americans. A key issue is the uncontrolled flow of immigrants entering the United States, raising questions about national security and public safety. Understanding the implications of open borders is crucial in today's environment.

This course delves into the potential threats associated with a lack of vetting at the border. While many immigrants seek a better life and are law-abiding, the absence of proper screening creates vulnerabilities. Concerns exist regarding the potential for drug trafficking, human trafficking (including sex trafficking), and the possibility of terrorism and criminal activity.

Historically, border security has been manageable due to slower migration patterns and effective border patrol efforts. However, a recent surge in illegal immigration has overwhelmed resources and created a significant challenge for border control. The result is a large influx of individuals with unknown backgrounds, making monitoring and tracking extremely difficult.

The course explores the dangers posed to America by uncontrolled immigration and examines the strain it places on state and local resources. These communities often bear the financial burden of providing services to undocumented immigrants, despite them not contributing to the tax base. Ironically, this situation can also hinder access to essential services for those who have entered the country legally.

We will investigate the motivations of those who advocate for open borders and analyze the potential benefits they stand to gain. The course provides a comprehensive overview of the risks associated with the current border situation and explores potential solutions to ensure national security and responsible immigration policies. Learn about the impact of border security on the nation and the challenges of managing a rapidly changing immigration landscape.
