IC3 Certification: Your Gateway to Digital Literacy

What is IC3?

IC3 stands for Internet & Computing Core Certification, also known as the International Computing & Internet Certification. Developed by Certiport, a global leader in computer literacy assessments, IC3 measures an individual's foundational knowledge of computing and the internet.

IC3 provides clear guidelines on the essential knowledge and skills needed to become proficient in basic computer operations, software applications, networks, and internet usage. It offers a globally recognized benchmark for fundamental computer and internet skills.

IC3 Certification Exam Topics

The IC3 certification is achieved by successfully completing three key exams:

1. Computing Fundamentals: This exam assesses your understanding of computer hardware, software, and basic operating system skills.
2. Key Applications: Demonstrates proficiency in essential software applications used daily.
3. Living Online: Evaluates your ability to navigate and utilize the internet effectively and safely.

Passing these exams demonstrates a solid foundation in computer skills and opens doors to further international certifications like A+, MOS, MCSE, and Cisco.
