Deploy Hyperledger Fabric Applications Across Multiple Hosts: A Hands-On Guide

This course provides a purely hands-on experience in deploying a Hyperledger Fabric application across a multi-host environment. You'll learn to set up a robust and scalable blockchain network using Virtual Machines (VMs). This training focuses on the practical steps required for a distributed deployment, assuming you already have a foundational understanding of Hyperledger Fabric concepts.

Here's what you'll master:

• VM Creation & Network Setup: Learn to provision and configure 4 Virtual Machines, each hosting a distinct Hyperledger Fabric Organization. We'll cover essential network setup for seamless communication.
• Organization & Certificate Management: Establish 4 Organizations (3 Peer Orgs and 1 Orderer Org) and create 4 Certificates Authorities (CAs), with each Org having its own dedicated CA for secure certificate generation.
• Channel & Artifact Creation: Understand and implement channel creation and joining procedures on each VM. Learn how to generate necessary channel artifacts.
• Chaincode Deployment & Lifecycle: Deploy, install, and approve chaincode for each of the 4 Organizations residing on different VMs.
• API Server Implementation: Set up a dedicated API Server (container) on one of the VMs (Org1) for convenient transaction invocation.
• Docker Swarm Networking: Utilize Docker Swarm Networks to facilitate communication between the different VMs and services.
• Secure Cryptomaterial Creation: Learn to create secure cryptomaterial using the Certificates Authorities.
• Multi-Host Deployment Workflow: We'll cover every step involved in a multi-host deployment, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the process.

Throughout the course, you'll perform all necessary operations – including installation and chaincode approval – directly on the various virtual machines.

Important Note: This course does not cover the core concepts of Hyperledger Fabric. It is specifically focused on the practical aspects of multi-host deployment.

By the end of this training, you will be proficient in deploying your Hyperledger Fabric application on multiple cloud VMs and building an API Server for interacting with your blockchain network.
