How to SEE what you NEED to see - for Dental Students

Unlock Success in Dental Preparations: See What Matters!

This course provides a unique opportunity to master the visual aspects of dental preparations across all four quadrants of the mouth. We utilize a mounted typodont – a realistic simulation – to demonstrate each step. You'll observe a variety of preparation techniques and gain insight into exactly what to look for during every stage.

Many students miss a crucial element: understanding the thought process behind identifying key visual cues. Without guidance on where to look, preparations often result in avoidable errors.

Learn to consciously determine what must be seen and then discover the optimal viewing direction to ensure you’re addressing critical aspects of the preparation.

Through detailed inset videos, you'll gain a firsthand perspective on my visual approach, including head positioning and tilt, to maximize visibility.

Key benefits include:

• Preventing Adjacent Tooth Damage: Discover how to proactively identify and avoid damaging adjacent teeth – a common error caused by incorrect viewing angles.
• Strategic Preparation: Learn how to develop a preparation strategy that minimizes potential problems by ensuring you clearly see the proximity of the bur to adjacent structures.
• Efficient & Successful Preps: Develop a systematic approach to dental preparations that promotes speed, efficiency, and consistently successful outcomes.

This course is an invaluable investment in your dental practice, equipping you with the visual skills and strategic thinking necessary for long-term success in dental preparations.
