Step 1: Choosing Your Domain Name & Hosting

1. HostGator: Head over to HostGator and click "Get Started."
2. Choose a Plan: Select the "Hatchling Plan."
3. Select Your Domain: Choose a domain name that reflects your brand. Enter your desired name and select a domain extension (like .com, .net, etc.).
4. Account Details: Enter a username and security pin. Choose a billing cycle (we recommend a year for cost savings).
5. Billing Information: Provide your billing details, ensuring you use an accessible email address for login information.
6. Uncheck Extras: Uncheck any add-on extras you don't need.
7. Checkout: Click "Checkout Now" to finalize your purchase and become the owner of your website address!

Post-Purchase:

• You'll receive emails from HostGator with your login details and helpful links.
• Find the "C Panel" link and click on it.
• Navigate to "Software & Services" and click "Quick Install."
• Select "WordPress" from the dropdown menu and click "Next."
• Enter your website details: name, blog title, username, first and last name, and email address.
