Ghost Photography: Craft a Surreal Disappearing Portrait

Unleash your creativity and learn to craft surreal portraits of ethereal subjects in this photography course! Discover how to bring barely-there ghosts and invisible people to life through innovative photo manipulation techniques.

This class guides you through the entire process, from idea generation for photography to mastering the photo editing process. You'll watch a detailed editing walkthrough of three distinct images, including explanations for creating complex photo composites.

Perfect for beginner to intermediate photographers, this course will elevate your skills in digital artistry. A foundational understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom is beneficial, but not essential.

Here's what you'll need for the project:

• A camera (any type will do!)
• A tripod for sharp images
• Photoshop (or a compatible alternative)
• A subject willing to participate

Software Options:

• Adobe Photoshop: A subscription is recommended, but the photographer plan is only $10/month and includes both Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Free Alternatives: If you're looking for a budget-friendly option, explore free programs like GIMP. Ensure the software allows for layer manipulation and opacity adjustments, crucial for achieving the desired ethereal effects.

Ready to explore the world of digital portraiture? We can't wait to see the incredible photographic creations you develop! Remember to upload your finished image to the project gallery.
