German for You A2/B1: Grammar, Elementary to Intermediate

Are you looking to improve your German skills and move from A2 to B1 level? This course is designed for you! We'll begin with a quick assessment to ensure your A1 German foundation is strong, especially if you've completed my A1 German grammar course.

Throughout the course, you'll receive clear grammar explanations with every answer – a valuable refresher of previously learned concepts. We'll cover all the essential German grammar points needed to reach elementary to intermediate proficiency (A2-B1).

I use numerous real-life examples translated directly within the lessons to expand your German vocabulary. Each topic concludes with practice exercises to solidify your understanding.

To support your learning, each lecture includes a downloadable PDF sheet with the complete content. You'll also find PDF worksheets with additional written exercises and supplementary information attached to almost every lecture.

Understanding German language levels (A1-B1) can be tricky, as curricula vary. To help you navigate, I've indicated the typical level where each topic is introduced:

• Lecture (A2): Typically appears in A2 level.
• Lecture (B1): Typically appears in B1 level.
• Lecture (Plus): Not always covered in standard level-based curricula.

I've included many A2 topics because they are often briefly touched upon in textbooks but not thoroughly explained. Many learners enter the B1 level with unanswered A2 questions. This course aims to address those gaps, providing detailed explanations and solutions.
