Unlock the Magic of Encaustic Image Transfers: A Step-by-Step Guide
This class builds upon the foundational skills learned in the Encaustic Basics Class. If you're new to encaustic painting, be sure to check that class out first – it covers essential medium application and panel preparation. This course focuses on a relatively new method: transferring toner-based images onto your encaustic artwork, blending traditional techniques with contemporary artistry.

This is a fantastic way to combine the realism of photography with the fluid, painterly qualities of encaustic. By the end of this class, you'll have successfully completed your first encaustic toner transfer and gained advanced skills in this versatile fine art medium. Why Choose This Class?
Image transfers in encaustic open up a world of creative possibilities! This technique is ideal for artists who enjoy the contrast between photographic imagery and abstract elements. It's also a great option for those who want to incorporate realistic imagery into their work without needing to draw. The transparency achievable in encaustic creates a beautiful effect, making the image appear to float on the paint surface. If I can help you unlock the beauty and ethereal quality of this material, then this class is a worthwhile investment of your time.
