You'll also learn practical EQing techniques and how to understand frequency ranges to sculpt your audio. We'll cover the basics of channel mixing and how to balance elements within your track.

The best part? We'll be using a free, open-source Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), making this course accessible to everyone! These techniques aren't limited to one DAW; they apply broadly to audio mixing in various software and for diverse genres, including electronic music, video game audio, and video production.

All you need is a computer – though a good set of studio headphones or monitor speakers is highly recommended for accurate mixing decisions. We'll explore headphone and speaker options in a dedicated lesson.

Prerequisites: Ideally, you'll have completed the previous two classes in the Electronic Music Production for Beginners series and have an arranged track ready for mixing. No worries if you haven't! I've included an original track for you to follow along with.
