Learn KiCad 6 PCB Design – From Beginner to Development Board!

This comprehensive course provides a structured, step-by-step approach to mastering KiCad 6, a powerful open-source PCB design software. Whether you're new to electronics or an experienced maker, you'll gain the skills to design your own printed circuit boards without being overwhelmed.

We start with a simple project to introduce you to the core features of KiCad 6. As you become comfortable, we progressively build upon this project, gradually introducing more advanced tools and functionalities – including menus, sub-menus, and toolbars.

The core of the course revolves around designing a two-phase bipolar stepper motor controller. You'll then apply your knowledge by creating a second revision (REV2) with customized requirements and a different motor.

Finally, you'll learn to route your design using an auto router, guided by our video tutorials and lectures. We'll culminate in the creation of a complete development board.

Throughout the course, you'll see real-world examples with photos of manufactured printed circuit boards created by students.

We've prioritized high-quality audio and video for a seamless learning experience. Each lecture is designed to be approximately 5 minutes long, with a musical cue at the end to signal the conclusion.
