Conversational Swedish

Looking to learn basic Swedish conversation? This course is perfect for you! Whether you have Swedish friends, a Swedish partner, or are traveling to Sweden, mastering a few key phrases will enhance your experience.

This relaxed course provides a simple and effective way to achieve your goal of speaking Swedish. We use clear slides with Swedish terms and English translations, accompanied by video introductions from Åsa, a native Swedish speaker.

We'll start with essential Swedish grammar before diving into practical spoken conversation. You'll learn how to:

• Express your preferences (likes & dislikes)
• Introduce yourself (age, origin, occupation)
• Engage in common social conversation
• Discuss Swedish food and restaurant vocabulary
• Get a glimpse into Swedish culture

We focus on pronunciation and natural phrase usage to help you sound like a native Swedish speaker. Forget dry textbook learning – we prioritize the spoken language you'll actually use.

Each lesson includes quizzes and practical sketches to reinforce your new vocabulary. Plus, a bonus section offers extra resources for continued learning.
