Beginner's Guitar Crash Course

Looking to learn guitar but short on time? This course is designed for beginners – adults and late teens – who want to start playing guitar quickly and easily, without getting bogged down in complex music theory or struggling with note reading.

No prior experience is needed! Just a playable guitar (acoustic, nylon string, or electric – all are welcome!) and a commitment to regular, short practice sessions. We understand busy schedules, so we focus on achievable steps.

What You'll Learn:

• Easy Guitar Chords: Master essential one-finger chords to build confidence and quickly switch between them.
• Fingerstyle vs. Pick (Plectrum): Explore both techniques and discover which suits your style. We’ll focus on one initially, allowing you to return to the other later.
• Strumming Techniques: Start with basic downstrokes, then progress to adding upstrokes and explore syncopation for more dynamic rhythms.
• Play a Real Song: Challenge yourself by learning chords from the iconic song "A Horse With No Name."
• Blues, Rock & Country Scale: Learn a single, versatile scale that unlocks countless musical possibilities. We'll provide example videos to help you master it and play along with backing tracks.
• Improvisation Basics: Our "Introduction to Improvising" section guides you in creating your own single-note solos – perfect for jamming with friends!
• Chord Melody: Learn to play chords and melodies simultaneously, adding a new dimension to your playing.

How This Course Works:

We break down learning guitar into simple, manageable steps. You'll track your progress and see real results quickly. We focus on modern-sounding arpeggios (chords played as single notes) to get you playing guitar right away.
