Be A Great Pianist : Keyboard Structure

Looking to become a skilled pianist or music producer? This introductory keyboard course is perfect for complete beginners – no prior experience needed!

We'll start with the fundamentals, exploring the structure of the keyboard and understanding why different keyboards have varying key counts. You'll then learn about crucial musical concepts like half steps and whole steps, laying the groundwork for understanding the names of both black and white keys.

Mastering key names is easier than you think! We'll guide you through this process, then move on to essential music theory: major scales, pentatonic scales, and relative minor scales for all 12 keys.

You'll discover how to extend scales for more creative possibilities and learn effective right-hand fingering techniques to improve your playing.

By the end of this course, you'll confidently be able to identify and play major, pentatonic, and relative minor scales without difficulty.

I'm Fernando Williams, and I'll be your instructor. Let's begin your musical journey!
