In 2010, support for WebSQL (SQLite in browsers) was discontinued. The HTML5 specification for browser-based database management is now IndexedDB. Both WebSQL and IndexedDB are supported on mobile devices. While LocalStorage and SessionStorage are also available, they are primarily suited for storing strings. IndexedDB, a NoSQL database, offers powerful and straightforward data handling.

This course aims to equip you with the skills to effectively utilize IndexedDB. You will:

• Develop a complete activity tracking application leveraging IndexedDB.
