About Dr. Hiroshi Takayama:

Dr. Hiroshi Takayama is a highly respected physician with decades of experience in Kampo medicine.

• Education: Graduated from Kyushu University Medical School in 1962.
• Career: Joined the Third Internal Medicine Department at Kyushu University Medical School in 1963. Began self-study of Kampo medicine in 1969.
• Clinical Practice: Worked in internal medicine at Fukuoka Torikai Hospital before establishing his own clinic in Fukuoka City in 1974.
• Mentorship: Studied under Dr. Mutsumune Terashi in 1980 and became a member of the Kampo Sanko Juku (Dr. Terashi's school) in 1984.
• Recognition: Awarded the Japan Eastern Medical Association Encouragement Award in 2005.
• Retirement & Continued Contribution: Retired from his position as clinic director in 2012 and now dedicates his time to lectures and writing.
