This English A1 course is designed for complete beginners and is the foundational level in our comprehensive six-level program, built upon the internationally recognized Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). We'll focus on building a solid base for communication.

In this course, you will be able to:

• Understand basic spoken English: Grasp everyday expressions in clear, slow, and repeated speech.
• Comprehend simple instructions: Understand questions and instructions delivered carefully and slowly.
• Follow basic directions: Successfully navigate short, simple directions.
• Introduce yourself and others: Confidently introduce yourself and others.
• Ask and answer personal questions: Engage in basic conversations about personal details.
• Communicate in simple interactions: Interact effectively when the other person speaks slowly and clearly.
• Describe your surroundings: Use simple phrases to describe where you live and people you know.

What is the CEFR?

The CEFR provides a standardized system for classifying language proficiency. It ranges from A1 (beginner) to C2 (proficient). These levels are defined by "can-do" statements, grouping learners into three main categories: Basic User, Independent User, and Proficient User.

Why Learn English at the A1 Level?

Achieving an A1 level of English is enough for very basic interactions, such as navigating as a tourist in an English-speaking country. However, it's important to remember that this level is not sufficient for academic or professional pursuits.
