A Course in Miracles - 'Course Cosmology' Series

Discover the foundational figures of A Course in Miracles (ACIM) with Alison Anton, host of the popular ForgiveNest Podcast. This insightful exploration delves into the unique portrayal of God, the Son of God, the Holy Spirit, and the ego within this transformative spiritual text.

Understanding God in ACIM:

Class 1 provides a profound understanding of God as presented in ACIM. Alison clarifies how the Course defines God not as a creator of the physical world, but as a formless, timeless, and eternally loving presence encompassing all. Learn how ACIM reframes traditional Christian concepts of God, emphasizing God's unconditional love and the illusory nature of the physical realm. She addresses common misconceptions about God’s nature, highlighting that God does not create the world or human bodies, viewing them as part of an illusion.

Exploring the "Son of God":

Class 2 unpacks the powerful concept of the "Son of God" as central to ACIM. Alison explores the core principle that "God's Son is guiltless," a cornerstone of the Course's teachings. The discussion illuminates the idea of Christ as a shared, universal Self, emphasizing the importance of recognizing inherent innocence in yourself and others. The episode underscores the profound truth of our fundamental "sameness."

The Sleeping Son and the Dream of Separation:

Class 3 builds upon previous classes, examining the "Son of God" who is seemingly asleep, trapped in a dream of separation from the Kingdom of Heaven. Alison explores the concept of separation as a dream state, driven by a thought system that obscures our true Christ identity. The episode contrasts this dream with reality, dispelling notions of sin and punishment. Instead, it highlights the need for gentle correction and support to awaken from this illusory state.

The Holy Spirit: Guide to Awakening and Forgiveness:

Class 4 focuses on the vital role of the Holy Spirit as God's remedy for separation and the guide to spiritual awakening. Alison contrasts the ego's tendency to perpetuate division with the Holy Spirit's power to foster unity and forgiveness. Learn how the Holy Spirit helps reframe daily experiences, leading us toward a deeper understanding and awakening. The episode emphasizes the crucial role of forgiveness in this process, highlighting the Holy Spirit's unwavering mission to guide us home.

Alison Anton expertly weaves together these concepts, offering a comprehensive overview of ACIM's core teachings and the fail-safe nature of the Holy Spirit's guidance. This series provides a strong foundation for understanding the transformative potential of A Course in Miracles.
