A biblical understanding of Holy Spirit encounters

In the last days, God promises a dramatic outpouring of His Spirit on all people (Acts 2:17). Many believe we are witnessing this fulfillment as we approach the end of the age. The number of Spirit-filled believers has grown exponentially, from thousands at the start of the 20th century to millions today.

This course offers a biblical framework for understanding encounters with the Holy Spirit. Understanding these encounters is crucial because ignorance of biblical truth makes believers vulnerable to deception by the enemy. Experiencing the Holy Spirit is an encounter with the supernatural, and without proper guidance, individuals can be misled by false spirits.

This course is designed for all audiences, regardless of prior theological knowledge. It provides a basic understanding of the Holy Spirit as revealed in the Bible. Michael Maher will lead lectures directly from scripture, exploring the doctrine of the Holy Spirit and its impact on the life of a believer.

We will focus on the biblical view of Holy Spirit encounters, equipping you to discern truth from error. This course complements Michael Maher’s book, Holy Spirit Encounters, providing a valuable supplementary resource.

We hope this course, along with interaction with fellow students, will be encouraging and enlightening as you deepen your understanding of the Holy Spirit and its role in your life. Learn how to recognize and navigate spiritual encounters with confidence.
