Welcome! I'm Ethan, your instructor at ORCA IELTS, and I'm here to help you conquer the IELTS Writing test. With increasing demand and rising costs, finding effective IELTS preparation can be challenging. Traditional in-person courses often present issues with scheduling, expense, and the ability to revisit material.

As the owner of a leading IELTS training center, I understand these hurdles. That's why I've created this comprehensive online course – designed to deliver results without the usual drawbacks.

Who is this course for?

This program is ideal for:

• High school students and above aiming for a strong IELTS score.
• Individuals with several years of English learning experience looking to significantly improve their writing skills.

What you'll need:

To maximize your learning, please have the following ready:

• 8 Key Vocabulary Lists: I've included targeted vocabulary for each of the 8 writing topics.
• Course Materials: Comprehensive materials are provided within the course.
• Official Band Descriptors: Print out the official IELTS band descriptors – essential for understanding how your writing will be assessed.
• Notebook & Pen: Download the lesson notes for each session and bring them along. Active note-taking will greatly enhance your learning.

Course Structure:

Each lesson is designed to be 1-2 hours long. Please schedule your time accordingly and dedicate focused attention to each module. Remember, consistent effort is key to success.

Avoid the Dopamine Trap!

Short, entertaining videos can feel productive, but often lead to superficial learning and poor retention. This course focuses on building a solid foundation and a structured approach to IELTS writing.

I wish you the best of luck in achieving your IELTS goals! Let's get you ready to ace the test.
